Founded in August 2012, East Midlands Service Centre Ltd has grown into a trusted and well-established garage in the heart of Loughborough. Originally reopening a former workshop premises on Prince William Road, the business has built a strong local reputation for reliable servicing, repairs, and honest workmanship. Based on the industrial estate near B&Q, Screwfix, and Hancocks, the workshop is fully equipped with modern diagnostic and repair equipment. We offer MOTs, servicing, repairs, welding, exhausts, tyres, diagnostics, and air-conditioning services for most makes and models, from classic cars to modern vehicles. Using the latest Snap-on diagnostic equipment, we provide accurate fault finding and service light resets for the vast majority of vehicles. Do you carry out MOTs
Yes. We are a VOSA approved MOT testing centre. Our qualified testers inspect your vehicle to ensure it meets the required safety and environmental standards, providing clear advice and honest recommendations should any issues be identified.
When can I have my MOT test carried out?
You can have your MOT test up to one month (minus a day) before your current MOT expires and still keep the same renewal date.
Can I wait while my vehicle is being worked on?
Yes. You’re welcome to wait in our heated and air-conditioned reception area while we work on your vehicle. We also have a viewing window into the workshop, allowing you to see your vehicle being worked on. If you prefer to step out, there are several cafés and local amenities nearby. Please contact us before your appointment and we’ll be happy to advise on the expected duration of the work.
How often should I service my vehicle?
Most vehicles should be serviced every 12 months or according to the manufacturer’s recommended mileage interval, whichever comes first. Regular servicing helps maintain reliability, improve safety, and identify potential issues before they become costly repairs. If you’re unsure when your vehicle is due for a service, our team can advise you based on your vehicle’s make, model and service history.
